About me and my work
I became a freelance designer in 2016, specialising in interior alterations, design and decoration.
With a diploma in Fine Art and Design and an MA in Museology, I initially worked in museums and visitor attractions designing exhibitions and working on web and print design. My first large project, aged 24, was the refurbishing and redesigning of a derelict Grade II listed Georgian building into a new museum. I then became a freelance museum exhibition designer – some of my projects are below. I still work occasionally for my local museum.
I wanted to work more locally and more creatively so I began designing for homes and businesses. I love turning nebulous ideas into their fabulous reality. I love what I do and am so pleased when a customer is delighted with what we’ve achieved. With my background in heritage I particularly enjoy working with historical homes and traditional styles.
