How will Plan and Paint help me?

We can reconfigure the layout of your space, suggest what will work (and what won’t), and advise on suitable products and fittings to improve flow, looks, comfort, sound and/or storage.

We can suggest colours, fabrics, styles and themes. We can use your own treasured items, buy new ones and source older items to dress the room and create the right ambience

The design and installation process

Design process:

There will be an initial home or business visit to discuss the space – usually 1-4 hours.

After that, I’ll consider the best solutions for your concerns and email you a ‘how to proceed’ document.

If you are happy to proceed, I’ll send you my Welcome Booklet detailing the process.

Design begins! I propose ideas, floorplans and styles using 2d and 3d drawings.

Once those are agreed, I propose specific item choices of furniture, fixtures and fittings

and choices of colours, fabrics and accessories.

Installation process:

Once we know how the space will be laid out and the items going into it:

I’ll supply a full estimate for labour and a separate full estimate for furniture, fixtures and fittings.

I’ll supply a full schedule of works.

I’ll engage tradespeople and coordinate their visits

I’ll help you to order all the necessary items

I work with Faringdon Handyman to install everything unless we choose a specialist fitter.

Once the work is complete, we run through snagging.

General booking information

I’m usually booked up weeks or months in advance; please allow for this.

The design process can also take weeks or months; again, please allow for this.

Meetings will be held in your space and occasionally in my Faringdon office.

I can provide references and testimonials.

I have full Public Liability insurance (which prohibits me from owning hovercrafts…..)
