A few things to know before you book

Painting and Decorating

Contact me by phone or email to arrange a visit for a quote or estimate.
On the agreed date I'll arrive on time with everything I need. You will need to remove all small items and move large items away from the walls.
I usually carry out painting and decorating over two to three days to allow for drying times for caulk, plaster, paints etc.
I include small quantities of incidental materials like cleaners, caulks, plasters and sandpapers in the cost. I'll ask you to cover the cost of paint, wallpaper or large quantities of incidental materials.
All work is charged at £40ph. My time setting up and tidying up is chargeable. I charge travel time if out of Faringdon, Oxfordshire.

Call or email me to discuss your ideas and to see if and how I can make them into reality.
Depending on what's needed, I'll visit your home. I might take measurements or simply offer ideas. Often I do both and then create written plans and drawings.
Smaller projects might include new colour and style schemes, new soft furnishings, interior layout rethinking to maximise space, repositioning of furniture to create flow or suggestions for suitable items for the home.
For larger projects like bathrooms, extensions and interior repositioning I work with my business partner, Faringdon Handyman, and with other architects, builders, plumbers, electricians etc.
I offer a free phone consultation; all consultations and work thereafter is charged at £40 per hour or a project quotation.

You can buy necessary items or I can buy them for you. I'll add my time for this to the final invoice.
I'm usually booked up three to four weeks in advance. I can often fit smaller jobs in quickly.
The quoted price includes all the listed work. It doesn't include new work or failings uncovered during the work. These will be quoted for separately.
Any waste generated will be left for your disposal.
I will invoice on the day of the work or soon after and my payment terms are 7 days.
I will give you a guide as to how long I think the work will take and will price accordingly. If a quotation work runs over or under the price remains the same. If an estimate price runs over or under the price goes up or down accordingly.
